Peacebuilding promotes stability and security in communities by facilitating nonviolent resolution of differences and laying foundations to prevent future violence. From addressing underlying drivers to equipping communities with conciliatory resources, violent conflict has far-reaching implications and efforts to resolve it require collaboration across many sectors.
