Over the past 30 years, many ideas and models for reconciliation have been developed to help communities heal from the past and build a more interdependent future. While some reconciliation efforts have had positive outcomes, others have had mixed results. To better understand the principles and practices that make reconciliation effective, Professor Simon Keyes has compiled a report with theoretical ideas and case studies to stimulate discussion among practitioners and scholars. This report represents a selection of ideas and case studies rather than a comprehensive mapping of all reconciliation efforts, which would be a daunting task.
