United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) conducted a comprehensive mapping and review of youth peacebuilding programs in the Asia-Pacific region. This issue brief aims to shed light on the current state of the Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) programming in the region, identify gaps and challenges in its implementation, and provide recommendations for a way forward.
The mapping includes six initiatives led by UNDP BRH, 70 led by UNDP Country Offices, 12 supported by UNDP, 16 led by United Nations agencies and 36 led by others (INGOs, CSOs and youth-led peacebuilding organizations).
