This final evaluation report highlights the significant success of the project “Strengthening Trust and Collaboration between Citizens and Government Authorities for the Prevention of Violent Extremism.” Implemented by Search for Common Ground in partnership with the Rwanda Scouts Association and funded by the U.S. Department of State, the project has effectively fostered collaboration among youth, local authorities, security personnel, and communities to prevent security issues in Nyaruguru and Rusizi districts, as well as nationally in Kigali from September 2021 to September 2023.
Key findings reveal the project’s instrumental role in breaking down barriers, enhancing youth empowerment, and promoting community engagement.
