Please join the Women and Girls Empowered (WAGE) Global Consortium for a virtual panel discussion on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm ET that will share findings from our Learning Agenda. WAGE programs take an integrated, intersectional, and multi-disciplinary approach to addressing gender-based violence (GBV), women peace and security (WPS) and women’s economic empowerment (WEE), through our ten initiatives spanning 15 countries. The WAGE Learning Agenda seeks to promote promising practices within integrated women’s and girl’s empowerment programming, understand what is already known about integrated programming, what gaps in experience and evidence exist, and bridging said gaps.

The event will feature a policy discussion with the Hon. Ambassador-at-Large Dr. Geeta Rao Gupta of the US Department of State’s Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI). Other discussants will include, Muthoni Kamuyu-Ojuolo, WAGE Program Director, American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI); Dr. Aisalkyn Botoeva, Research and Evaluation Specialist Search for Common Ground; Bobbi Gray, Director of Research Grameen Foundation; Barbara Langley, Director of the Center for Women’s Economic Empowerment, Center for International Private Enterprise.
