Join Stopping as Success (SAS+) on 8 May for a virtual learning event all about mutual capacity strengthening.
SAS+ defines mutual capacity strengthening as “a process of strengthening skills, knowledge, and network contacts in which all actors participate as equal partners.” Read more about mutual capacity strengthening from SAS+ program manager Grace Boone.
Hear from SAS+ accompaniment partners, donors, and more on the importance of approaching capacity strengthening as a two-way street, their experiences with the process during a transition, and how mutual capacity strengthening can shift power and support the sustainability of international/local partnerships.
This 90-minute virtual event will include a panel conversation followed by an interactive discussion on the why and how of mutual capacity strengthening, as well as practical lessons learned for implementation. All are welcome to join.
