This report provides an overview of circumstances leading up to YSL\u00b4s enactment and content, reactions and current state of implementation.<br \/>\nYSL mandates a number of critical reparations for survivors of ISIL crimes from the Yezidi, Christian, Turkmen, and Shabak communities, including compensation, rehabilitation, land, housing, continued education, employment, genocide recognition, criminal prosecution of perpetrators, the search for those who remain missing, protection of witnesses and survivors, and the establishment of August 3rd of each year as a national day of remembrance.<br \/>\nThis report underlines accomplishments, synergies of main stakeholders but also reveals present challenges in the application process.
