This research aimed at shedding light on the impact of the clan identity of Al-Anbar Governorate\u2019s youth on their political participation and the extent of their understanding of the role they play in the political life. The research explains clan-related concepts and that of the political participation in order to achieve the purpose behind it through the clarification of those concepts based on the idea that considers that after each time cycle in history, societies\u2019 need to assert themselves and review their affiliations arises. Human groups, among themselves, place this affiliation within the framework of the features of human commonalities. They name this affiliation in a way that refers to the clan identity as one of the elements of citizenship and the concept of identity.
