Please join us for a conversation with Francisca Stuardo (Global Witness), Jacob Omar Jeronimo (Indigenous land activist), and Emily Green (Community Peacemaker Teams) on how Unarmed Civilian Protection practices are used to protect land protectors. Climate change, conflict, and the protection of civilians are intimately connected, and Unarmed Civilian Protection practices have long been used to protect those who protect the planet. This is critically important now, as land protectors currently face unprecedented violent threats — with more than half of activists killed in 2021 being land and environment defenders.
