Kyrgyz Jarany: Promoting Social Cohesion between Diaspora Groups and Local Communities

The “Kyrgyz Jarany: Promoting Social Cohesion between Diaspora Groups and Local Communities” project was implemented between July 2023 and August 2024. This learning document aims to capture the essential components of the project, from identification of the problem to the design of the project methodology and activities. It assesses what has worked well and what has not, gathering insights and observations from all relevant project stakeholders. From that analysis, a set of lessons learned and recommendations are outlined, drawing on positive and reassuring experiences as well as challenges that the project encountered.
