On July 17, 2021, ConnexUs hosted Farida Ally for the #ConnexUsLive, “The Intersection of Gender-Based Violence, Health, & Peace”.
Farida is the founder of Elimu Care and an Influencer for Change in Kenya.
During this event, we spoke with Farida about her work to end gender-based violence, how COVID-19 impacted it, and the connections it has to conflict in Kenya. Farida also detailed her upcoming intervention to end violence against women and girls, Nisaidie Kupaza Sauti, that she is initiating with the support of ConnexUs and the European Union.
