This is the M&E Thursday Talk from Thursday, November 7th, when Aprille Knox and Sarah Baum of Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J–PAL), led a discussion on “Impact Evaluations: What Works in Peacebuilding, Reconciliation, and Dispute Resolution.”
Recent studies of community security and peacebuilding efforts have identified powerful effects from limited, low-cost interventions, while also revealing that some more intensive investments have failed to produce desired outcomes. In this webinar, Aprille and Sarah presented emerging insights from a recent review of randomized evaluations of peacebuilding, reconciliation, and dispute resolution interventions.
