As our peacebuilding work has become more and more dependent on online communication and digital tools, the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI) is excited to offer new online courses on digital peacebuilding and digital security for its MPI 2023 Virtual Peacebuilding Training. These two courses will be held from October to December 2023.

Digital Peacebuilding: Integrating Technology with Peacebuilding Practices
October 16 to December 4, 2023 | Monday
3:00 PM – 6:00/6:30 PM, Philippine Time [UTC+8]

This online course will enable participants to have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize digital tools and strategies for peacebuilding, fostering a deeper understanding of contemporary peacebuilding practices within the digital context.
Digital Security for Peacebuilders
October 17 to December 5, 2023 | Tuesday
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Philippine Time [UTC+8]
Facilitator: Fred Goddard
This course will equip participants with the essential skills to navigate the digital landscape securely, safeguard their data and communications, and mitigate potential threats.
The cost for each course is US$475 or PhP26,000.

A Discounted fee of $450 or PhP24,750 will be applied for those who will submit their applications on or before September 20, 2023.
For those who enroll in both courses, there is a special course fee of US$800 or PhP44,000 (US$400 or PhP22,000 per course)!
