My name is Vinayak Rajesekhar. I am a fellow with an EU-funded programme called the Amplifying Leadership of Local Youth in Preventing Violent Extremism in South Asia (ALLY).
My colleague and I have received funding to pursue social action projects and were planning to produce a podcast series on the impact and implications of emerging tech. such as AI and ML on violent extremism while exploring myriad themes such as hate speech, propaganda, fake news, misinformation, disinformation, freedom of speech and expression, transparency, privacy laws, and more. Is this project of particular interest to anybody? We would love to host a few people who could share their work and broader thoughts on the subject.
Thank you for your time!

Hey Vinayak, sounds like a super interesting series! I would suggest reaching out to AI for Peace, Omdena to get the NGO/peacebuilding/conflict-oriented side of things and I would also love to see this kind of work directly engage the tech sector such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok etc to find out how they approach disinformation etc.Created 05/30/2022 at 1:53 pm
