“Dialogue” the first and last option to Conflict Resolution

  Dialogue is always the end point of any conflict, no matter the time it took, the destruction it passes through, the lives lost, at the end, every one will surely visit the table for dialogue (even if you win, you still need dialogue to keep your win). The question is, why the rejection of dialogue by counterparts in the first place?
